Effective immediately, Henning Kamm has been appointed as new managing director of the film production company REAL FILM BERLIN GmbH. A native of Hamburg, he had previously functioned in a capacity as managing director and executive producer for DETAiLFILM GmbH, the company he founded in 2007 together with his partner, Fabian Gasmia.

Following his master in Applied Cultural Sciences at the University of Lüneburg, Henning Kamm completed the L’Atelier Masterclass in Ludwigsburg and Paris. In 2007 he co-founded DETAiLFILM. His films ran successfully at the Berlinale, Sundance, Karlovy Vary, Locarno, SXSW, and at such museums as MoMA in New York. They have been honoured with numerous jury and audience prizes, including the LOLA in Gold, the Crystal Globe, the SXGlobal Award and a nomination for a European Film Award. In 2014 Henning Kamm was Germany’s ‘Producer on the Move’. He is a member of the European Film Academy, the European Producers Club and an EAVE and Inside Pictures alumni. In January 2015 he founded Zentropa Hamburg together with Danish powerhouse Zentropa. Among other projects, Henning is presently working on Dustin Loose’s “BOSPORUS BROTHERS”, Erik Schmitt’s “THE TINY LADY”, Carlo Zoratti’s “LA VITA NUOVA” and Mara Eibl Eibesfeldt “DAYS OF KINDNESS“.
